PROGRAM FEE PAYABLE TO THE INSTRUCTOR
The rate for Finance Professionals course is $1,000 for initial and final assessments, 10 (1-hour) sessions, and 24/7 feedback. Payment will be paid in full prior to the first session. No further fees will be charged for preparation time of the INSTRUCTOR. PayPal and Credit Card payment accepted.
TIME LIMIT FOR CONTRACT COMPLETION
Any scheduling agreements between the INSTRUCTOR and the CLIENT(S) must be completed in a timely manner in order to maximize the success of the CLIENT(S) and to represent a fair time commitment from the INSTRUCTOR. The schedule will be set before the first session. Sessions can be rescheduled, but the total time elapsed for a 12-session package shall not exceed 14 weeks, excepting major holidays or for specific exceptions.
RESCHEDULING OF A LESSON BY CLIENT(S)/ GROUPS
A CLIENT may REQUEST RESCHEDULING a session by giving at least 24 hours advanced notice to the INSTRUCTOR. The INSTRUCTOR will reschedule the session at a time agreeable to both parties. If a client misses a session without adequate advanced notice, he/ she forfeits the payment for that session. Two sessions can be rescheduled, but the total time elapsed for a 12-session package shall not exceed 14 weeks, excepting major holidays.
CANCELLATION OF A LESSON BY INSTRUCTOR
The INSTRUCTOR may cancel sessions by giving 24 hours prior notice to the CLIENT(S). The INSTRUCTOR will reschedule the session at a time agreeable to both parties.
LATE ARRIVAL
Fees are calculated according to the times stipulated in the FEE SCHEDULE and no adjustment will be made for time lost because of late arrival by the CLIENT(S). Any lost time because of the late arrival of the INSTRUCTOR will be compensated for by extending a session by mutual agreement and by such amount of time that was lost.
OBLIGATIONS OF THE INSTRUCTOR
- The INSTRUCTOR undertakes to do all preparation prior to sessions and to structure sessions in such a way as to optimize time to the benefit of the CLIENT(S).
- The INSTRUCTOR will keep confidential all information of the CLIENT(S) and will contact other parties involved in the education of the CLIENT(S) only if given written permission by the CLIENT(S) to do so.
OBLIGATIONS OF THE CLIENTS
- The CLIENT(S) assist the INSTRUCTOR in identifying problem areas in which the CLIENT(S) need specific instruction.
- The CLIENT(S) agree that assignments, exercises or homework form an integral part of the sessions and will complete such work as scheduled by the INSTRUCTOR.
NO WARRANTIES
The INSTRUCTOR makes no promises or warranties with regards to CLIENT(S)’ performance as a result of any instruction provided.
STATUS OF THE INSTRUCTOR
It is expressly understood that the CLIENT(S) retain the services of the INSTRUCTOR as an independent contractor and not as an employee. The INSTRUCTOR is responsible for his/her insurance and for all statutory declarations and contributions with regard to income tax.
TERMINATION
This educational services contract may be terminated by either party at any time by giving the other party one week prior notice. All services rendered are non-refundable. This means that if you cannot continue for any reason, I will refund the cost of the remaining sessions only, not the whole course. Refunds are through Paypal and Stripe.
RELAXATION OF TERMS
No relaxation, indulgence, waiver or release by any party of any of the rights in terms of this agreement on one occasion will prevent the subsequent enforcement of such rights and will not be deemed to be a waiver of any subsequent breach of any of the terms.
WHOLE AGREEMENT
This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties with regard to the subject matter thereof and the parties waive the right to rely on any alleged expressed or implied provision not contained herein. Any alteration to this agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties.
VALIDATION OF CONTRACT
Please read this contract carefully. Ask questions about any terms that you do not understand. By signing this contract and paying for the course, you certify that you understand and agree with the terms. A photocopy of this document is as valid as the original.
